Adolescência e sexualidade no ensino fundamental

Abstract

This work was done in a survey conducted with students in a municipal school, and extending it to parents. The goal was to provide teens and parents a clearer and more objective communication, regarding questions about adolescence and sexuality communication, because in today's world, it is believed that these issues should no longer be seen as a taboo, however, it is not as simple apparently, there is a lot of lack of information and misinformation and this is related to shyness in dealing with the issue and the lack of dialogue. The results of the survey found out that adolescents do not have dialogue with their parents, making it difficult to communicate and clarify questions that arise throughout their lives. There was also a lot of enthusiasm and curiosity when issues about adolescence and sexuality were released for discussion, because, according to the research conducted through questionnaires, adolescents demonstrated interest and need to maintain a closer relationship with their parents, or talk without formality. Then it is understood that by the time of conducting the survey, the school was responsible for transmitting knowledge and clarify questions that arise in adolescence, parents, presented themselves very distant and protected themselves against the dialogue about sexuality, instead of performing their effective collaboration about sexual education, which is also part of their role as parents.
