Políticas públicas de emprego e empregabilidade em Jacareí (SP)

Abstract

This work was the study of thematic “Analysis of public policy in the Jacareí City (Brazil, São Paulo)” related to education as an instrument qualification of manpower to replacement and access to the job market and public policies to encourage job creation . In addition to the official data obtained from the websites of IBGE, SEADE and supplied by Municipal Department of Jacareí. This study is also based on Case Study, performed through interviews with recruitment companies to know the requirements of employers and perception of these agencies in relation to candidates, as well as through questionnaires answered by students of technical , professional and language courses , in order to establish the profile of citizens who are looking such courses, their expectations, the situation in the labor market (employed or unemployed) by establishing an analysis of the employment situation and employment in the city, the favorable points, critics, the challenges associated to the question, pointing finally possible suggestions to improve the current situation.
