Avaliação dos impactos ambientais e aplicação das normas regulamentadoras de segurança do trabalho em uma unidade processadora de derivados mandioca na região noroeste do Paraná

Abstract

The environmental impact is characterized as any change in physical, chemical or biological weapons and the environment due to the effects caused by matter or energy associated with human activity. The job security is to promote and propagate the safety and health of workers. This study aimed to assess the environmental impacts caused by the company J. C. Oliveira and Sons Ltd., a processing unit derived from cassava and assess the risks that this activity can provide their employees. With this work it was possible to identify two types of waste generated, solids and liquids. In liquid wastes were conducted analyzes of BOD, COD, pH, temperature, sedimentais solids, oil and grease, cyanide, flow and effluent was found that this can not be released in the water body, because it has a higher content of cyanide to supervisory body established by the IAP. Already waste solids have an appropriate destination, which is the production of a new product from the residue also generated and the destination of the bark which is another residue for animal feed. Regarding job security was identified all employees generated rich, this evaluation was conducted through visits to production areas and checking the adequacy of the regulatory standards of safety and with this investigation it was found that most of the legislation are being met, but there are some rules that are not fully implemented. The company evaluated this working for full implementation of the requirements that are in disagreement with the treatment of waste and the regulatory standards of workplace safety for their suitability to the end of this year.
