| Resumo: | A statice (Limonium sinuatum) é uma espécie de flor de corte utilizada na composição de arranjos florais e em decorações, como flor fresca ou seca. O objetivo do trabalho foi avaliar o desenvolvimento, produção e qualidade de hastes florais de duas cultivares de statice no munícipio de Dois Vizinhos, Paraná. A condução do experimento ocorreu no Viveiro Florestal da UTFPRDV. O período de realização foi entre junho e dezembro de 2021. As cultivares de statice utilizadas foram a QIS Purple e a QIS Yellow. A semeadura foi realizada em 08 de junho de 2021, sendo duas bandejas por cultivar. O transplantio para o canteiro foi realizado no dia 05 de agosto de 2021, com mudas possuindo em média 13 folhas. O delineamento utilizado foi de blocos ao acaso, cada bloco composto por 2 parcelas, uma com 10 plantas de QIS Yellow e outra com 10 plantas de QIS Purple. O espaçamento de plantio utilizado foi de 0,50 m X 0,30 m. Após o transplantio foi realizada a contagem de folhas a cada seis semanas. Durantes as fases R1 e R3 foram coletadas 6 plantas para a avaliação da massa seca. Com os resultados obtidos percebeuse que no decorrer do ciclo em ambas as cultivares houve um aumento do número de folhas, seguido de um decrécimo. A QIS Yellow produziu uma menor quantidade de folhas em relação a QIS Purple e na comparação da massa seca das plantas de statice em R1 e R3, não foi observada diferença estatística entre as cultivares. A cultivar QIS Yellow apresentou resultados superiores nos parâmetros analisados, exceto em relação a espessura de haste, demonstrando ser bastante produtiva em Dois Vizinhos. Em relação ao período médio em que ocorreu a colheita da primeira haste floral, a colheita da QIS Yellow foi iniciada antes da QIS Purple, com antecedência de aproximadamente 34 dias. O período total de colheita foi semelhante em ambas cultivares. Concluise que para a região de Dois Vizinhos ambas cultivares podem ser produzidas comercialmente, contudo, a mais produtiva é a QIS Yellow. |
| Abstract: | The statice (Limonium sinuatum) is a species of cut flower used in the composition of flower arrangements and in decorations, as a fresh or dried flower. The objective of this work was to evaluate the development, production and quality of floral stems of two statice cultivars in the municipality of Dois Vizinhos, Paraná. The experiment was carried out at the Viveiro Florestal of UTFPRDV. The realization period was between June and December 2021. The statice cultivars used were QIS Purple and QIS Yellow. Sowing was carried out on June 8, 2021, with two trays per cultivar. The transplant to the flower bed was carried out on August 5, 2021, with seedlings having an average of 13 leaves. The design used was randomized blocks, each block consisting of 2 plots, one with 10 plants of QIS Yellow and the other with 10 plants of QIS Purple. The planting spacing used was 0.50 m X 0.30 m. After transplanting, leaves were counted every six weeks. During phases R1 and R3, 6 plants were collected for the evaluation of dry mass. With the results obtained, it was noticed that during the cycle in both cultivars there was an increase in the number of leaves, followed by a decrease. QIS Yellow produced a smaller amount of leaves in relation to QIS Purple and in the comparison of the dry mass of statice plants in R1 and R3, no statistical difference was observed between the cultivars. The cultivar QIS Yellow presented superior results in the analyzed parameters, except in relation to the stem thickness, demonstrating to be quite productive in the Dois Vizinhos. Regarding the average period in which the first flower stem was harvested, the QIS Yellow harvest started before QIS Purple, approximately 34 days in advance. The total harvest period was similar for both cultivars. It is concluded that for the Dois Vizinhos region both cultivars can be produced commercially, however the most productive is QIS Yellow. |
