Planejamento e controle de estoque: um estudo de caso em uma indústria de móveis

Abstract

The objective of this study was to demonstrate stock management in a Furniture Industry. Having characteristics of a strict control, however, complete in items, for speed in providing services to its consumers. The study was conducted through a case study, using interview, descriptive and qualitative approach. Developed through observations in the company and participating in activities related to Materials Management. Once the data collection was completed, data interpretation and analysis were developed based on existing inventory improvement tools, which resulted in suggestions for improvements. It is observed that through the reorganization of the stock management the company will achieve a reduction in operating costs, avoiding inadequate stock, thus having raw material and investment, stopped factors that indicate an increase in the final price of the products, as well as an ineffective application of the capital of spin.
