Estudo do conteúdo sobre obesidade, bulimia e anorexia no livro didático do 7º ano utilizado nos Colégios Estaduais de Medianeira – PR

Abstract

The concern with eating disorders is increasing these days depending on the diseases that are triggered by this fact. Increasingly, it has proved necessary to implement new methods in search of work more effective, as the training of concerned citizens regarding eating disorders, especially in formal education. Knowing that textbooks serve as a facilitator in the education process, this work aimed to study the textbook science of Year 7, used by colleges state of the city of Medianeira-PR, as obesity, bulimia and anorexia. For this we analyzed the data in response to a questionnaire from 14 teachers who teach the discipline of Sciences for the Year 7, the theoretical content, the visuals and the activities proposed in the present study textbook. The results showed that only six of these parameters, were between good and excellent, in the opinion of the teachers questioned. This fact is considered negative, because as the textbook is often the only tool in the classroom, this data becomes worrisome were evaluated in about fifteen questions. For other parameters such as clarity of information and draw the attention of the student, the results were between weak and regular, so that the textbook had weaknesses in relation to tackling eating disorders.
