Logística reversa: a gestão do lixo eletrônico em São José dos Campos

Abstract

The advent of technological advancement has brought access ever easier to electronic resources. Research indicates that the number of phones in Brazil already exceeds the population, in other words, it is estimated that more than one phone per inhabitant in the country. And this is just one of many examples, bearing in mind that electronic technology is advancing ever more rapidly. In this context, this research discusses the issue of reverse logistics of electronic waste, based on what governs the National Solid Waste Brazilian on the subject. It also brings a comparison with the European Directive Waste and learn about the process of integrated management of solid waste in the city of Sao Jose dos Campos. In search of information on the management of electronic waste in the city, there were semi-structured interviews with Urbam, mixed-capital company that provides services for urban city, and with the private company Gm&Clog, which operates in the field of logistics and transport, specializes in reverse logistics and manufacturing. Through interviews it was concluded that Sao Jose dos Campos in Brazil is a pioneer in the home collection of electronic waste, and perform a work of publicizing the services provided by Urbam. In Gm & Cog, we could better understand the process of reverse manufacturing, and as the market of electronic waste may be promising. Was also developed a questionnaire to the population in order to identify their level of understanding on the subject junk mail, as well as the appropriate places to dispose of it. With the conclusion of this work, it is expected to verify the possible perspectives to optimize services for discard, collection, dismantling and disposal of electronic waste in the city.
