Requisitos para a implantação da norma NBR ISO 14001 em uma empresa do segmento de laminados e compensados

Abstract

The economic and social context of organizations have been faced with a collection finds by responsible actions and committed to the environment. Thus, companies seek to establish forms of management, seeking to combine business strategies and environmental management. And for that, we seek to compliance with the environment through certifications. In this context, this is scoped to analyze the requirements for the implementation of ISO 14001 in a company of rolled segment and offset of Santa Catarina. The research was qualitative in a case study. The methodology started from a theoretical analysis, interviews and observation (which occurred in the first half of 2014 half of the second half of 2014), which was later interpreted and analyzed as the fluxo of the production process of veneer and plywood area. What is noticeable is that ISO 14001 is a generic and applicable standard in any type of organization and can be a market differentiator. In the case of laminates company analysis and offset what we observe is that much of the waste already has proper disposal, and much is already being done in terms of the environment. The main problem is that there are no records and the repetition of patterns, which ultimately derail currently implementation of ISO. However, some investment would enable the company to conform to the norm (especially in the pool that accommodates the washing water), but the main difficulty is not the adequacy of the operating system, the problem is to keep the environmental requirements over the years.
