Abstract

Marriage is one of the most important moments in people's lives, especially for women. As important as the bride, the marriage costume plays a key role in the wedding ceremony, representing dreams and desires into a new phase. Some women are able to differentiate the originality and daring in dress choice, as they have conditions to pay for it. On the other hand, most end up having to buy the model options that firms specializing in this segment offer. Thus, the choice of marital costume is limited to the traditional appearance on the market, set up primarily of dresses of unique structures with fitted bodices, skirts mostly bulky or adjusted to a certain point of the body, but still with excessive volumes, giving many possibilities for brides to innovate in the structures of the models. Due to this fact, this study aims to develop a collection of costumes marriage with a different aesthetic proposal, articulated parts that offer freedom for the bride customize the composition of her wedding dress. To this end, the study proposes the adoption of an unconventional structure in the production of matrimonial suits - the corset - to design a more elaborate piece key - the bridal corset - thus enabling women are able to do most exclusive compositions and customized dresses with other complementary parts and they are according to your wishes.
