| Resumo: | O morangueiro (Fragaria x ananassa Duch) vem ganhando espaço a cada ano no mercado, o conhecimento das características de cada cultivar é de suma importância, para uma boa produção. Diante disso, o objetivo foi avaliar a produção e qualidade dos frutos de diferentes cultivares de morangueiro, no cultivo em substrato, adaptação, as condições climáticas da região Sudoeste do Paraná, bem como avaliar o efeito das telas termo refletoras na qualidade dos frutos. O experimento foi implantado de janeiro de 2017 a março de 2018, na Universidade Tecnológica Federal Do Paraná, Câmpus Dois vizinhos, em ambiente protegido do “tipo arco”, localizado na UNEP de Horticultura. O experimento foi arranjado no delineamento de blocos ao acaso em esquema bifatorial, onde o fator 1: cultivares –Albion, Monterey e San Andreas, fator 2: telas de sombreamento na cor vermelha, prata e sem tela (testemunha). O início da colheita se deu no dia 21 de agosto de 2017, 59 dias após o transplantio e 21 dias após o pleno florescimento. O início da colheita foi marcado quando 50% das plantas possuíam frutos maduros. O ponto de colheita do fruto, foi determinado quando 75% do fruto possuía a epiderme vermelha. Os frutos foram submetidos às análises físico-químicas para determinação de compostos fenólicos totais, acidez titulável total e teor de sólidos solúveis. As análises foram divididas em três fases, aos 70dias, 131dias e161dias após o transplantio das mudas. Os resultados obtidos nesta pesquisa, apontam que as cultivares San Andreas e Monterey apresentaram os melhores resultados em comparação com a cultivar Albion em relação a produção total e número de frutos. Acultivar Monterey resultou em frutos mais doces, com maior teor de sólidos solúveis totais e menor valor de acidez total titulável, também apresentou os melhores resultados para antocianinas. A testemunha, sem tela termo refletora, resultou em frutos mais doces. A tela prata proporcionou maior teor de antocianinas. A tela vermelha resultou em maior produção por planta e maior produção total de frutos. Pesquisas como essa são de extrema necessidade, pois ajudam na tomada de decisão do produtor e das entidades envolvidas com a cultura do morangueiro. Por isso, os resultados encontrados nessa pesquisa poderão ajudar diretamente quem já está na atividade, tanto aqueles que desejam iniciar, ampliando o consumo e a comercialização do morango na cidade e na região, devido aos seus diversos benéficos para a saúde humana. |
| Abstract: | The strawberry (Fragaria x ananassa Duch) has been gaining ground every year in the market, knowledge of the characteristics of each cultivar is of paramount importance for good production. The objective was to evaluate the production and quality of the fruits of different strawberry cultivars, in the substrate cultivation, adaptation, the climatic conditions of the Southwest region of Paraná, as well as to evaluate the effect of the shading screens on fruit quality. The experiment was implemented from January 2017 to March 2018, at the Federal Technological University of Paraná, Câmpus Two neighbors, in a protected environment of the "arc type", located at UNEP Horticulture. The experiment was arranged in a randomized complete block design, where factor 1: cultivars -Albion, Monterey and San Andreas, factor 2: shading screens -in red, silver and without screen (control). The beginning of the harvest occurred on August 21, 2017, 59 days after transplanting and 21 days after full flowering. The beginning of the harvest was marked when 50% of the plants had mature fruits. The fruit harvest point was determined when 75% of the fruit had the red epidermis. The fruits were submitted to physico-chemical analyzes for determination of total phenolic compounds, totaltitratable acidity and soluble solids content. The analyzes were divided into three phases, at 70 days, 131 days and 161 days after transplanting the seedlings. The results obtained in this research, indicate that the cultivars San Andreas and Monterey presented the best results in comparison to the Albion cultivar in relation to the total production and number of fruits. The Monterey cultivar resulted in sweeter fruits, with higher total soluble solids content and lower titratable total acidity value, also showed the best results for anthocyanins. The control, without reflective screen, resulted in sweeter fruits. The silver screen provided higher content of anthocyanins. The red screen resulted in higher yield per plant and higher total fruit yield. Research such as this is of extreme necessity, since it helps in the decision-making of the producer and the entities involved with the strawberry crop. Therefore, the results found in this research can directly help those already in the activity, both those who wish to initiate, expanding consumption and commercialization of strawberries in the city and in the region, due to their various benefits for human health. |
