| Resumo: | As abelhas Apis mellifera são insetos classificados na ordem Hymenoptera e família Apidae. Dentro de uma colônia as abelhas são divididas em castas, são produtoras de mel, geleia real, própolis, cera e apitoxina. Esses insetos são importantes polinizadores, sendo responsáveis por polinizar aproximadamente 70% das plantas que fornecem alimento para o homem, devido ao importante papel que as abelhas desempenham torna-se necessário levar estas informações ao ambiente escolar para que o conhecimento adquirido pelos alunos possa ser levado à comunidade. Assim o objetivo deste trabalho foi aplicar diferentes metodologias para o ensino de A. mellifera. Foi desenvolvido no Colégio Estadual no município de Dois Vizinhos, Paraná, com alunos de 6º e 7º anos, totalizando 42 alunos. O trabalho contou com as seguintes etapas: 1) aplicação de um pré-questionário para avaliar os conhecimentos prévios sobre as abelhas A. mellifera, 2) exibição do filme infantil sobre a vida da abelha, Barry B. Benson, Bee Movie, da empresa DreamWorks Pictures, 3) Palestra sobre a morfologia e o comportamento das abelhas, destacando a organização da colônia, seus produtos e a importância destes indivíduos, além disso, durante a palestra houve exposição do ciclo de vida das abelhas e uma estrutura de vidro, modelo aquário, acondicionando um quadro contendo indivíduos de uma colônia de A. mellifera, e 4) em um último momento um pós-questionário foi aplicado com o intuito de diagnosticar os conhecimentos dos alunos e, indiretamente, avaliar as metodologias empregadas. Verificou-se que inicialmente a maior parcela dos alunos não tinha conhecimento sobre a importância das abelhas, seus produtos e os problemas de desaparecimento que a espécie vem enfrentando. Entretanto, após o desenvolver das atividades, os alunos conseguiram descrever formas de preservar as abelhas. Houve participação das turmas, na qual todos os alunos mostraram-se interessados e curiosos. Com a análise do pós-questionário, verificou-se eficácia no uso de diferentes metodologias, na construção de conhecimento de forma dinâmica e interdisciplinar, na qual aluno e educador interagem na construção do conhecimento. |
| Abstract: | Apis mellifera bees are insects classified in the Hymenoptera order and Apidae family. Within a colony the bees are divided into castes, they are honey, royal jelly, propolis, wax and apitoxin producers, these insects are important pollinators, being responsible for pollinate about 70% of plants that provide food for man. Due to the important role that the bees play, it is necessary to take this information to the school environment so that the knowledge acquired by the students can be brought to the community.Thus, the objective of this assignment was to apply different methodologies for the teaching of A. mellifera. It was developed at the State College in the city of Dois Vizinhos, Paraná, with 6th and 7th grade students, totalling 42 students. The work involved the following steps: 1) application of a pre-questionnaire to assess previous knowledge about bees A. mellifera, 2) showing the child's film about bee life, Barry B. Benson, Bee Movie, by DreamWorks Pictures, 3) a lecture on bee morphology and behavior, highlighting the organization of the colony, its products and the importance of these individuals, in addition, during the lecture there was exposure of the life cycle of the bees and a glass structure, aquarium model, stocking a table containing individuals from a colony of A. mellifera, and 4) at the last moment a post-questionnaire was applied in order to diagnose the students' knowledge and, indirectly, evaluate the methodologies used. It was verified that initially the greater part of the students was not aware about the importance of the bees, their products and the disappearance problems that the species has been facing. However, after the activities were developed, the students were able to describe ways to preserve the bees. There was participation of the classes, in which all the students showed themselves interested and curious. With the post-questionnaire analysis, it was verified the effectiveness in the use of different different methodologies, and in the construction of dynamic and interdisciplinary knowledge, in which student and educator interact in the construction of knowledge. |
