Análise dos requisitos normativos das instalações elétricas em condomínios residenciais construídos no período de 2002 a 2012

Abstract

Electric installations are an important and essential part of residential buildings, thus being extremely important that they are adequately constructed and utilized, so that there are no unnecessary risks to the premises and its users. International, national na local standards are developed and frequently updated in order to, if obeyed, ensure a reliable security level to the installations. Several economical factors, as competition for lower prices and higher profit, may lead constructors not to follow the standard regulations. In 2003 a statistical study showed that 100% of the existing residential buildings in Curitiba did not follow all regulatory requirements. Therefore, the goal of this monography is to develop a standard evaluation script for this kind of building, based on the current regulatory standards and according litterature, in order to determine the quality of the electric installations of the buildings contructed in Curitiba between 2002 and 2012, through an ellaborate survey and its auxiliary procedures, regarding: power input; switchboards; general conditions; light switches, power outlets and receptacles; lightning Rod and referring documents, besides a brief interview with the installation users. Besides developing the standard evaluation script, this monography seeks to apply it in 29 buildings. Statistical treatment of the collected data and a comparison with a simillar monography written in 2003, which evaluated buildings up to that date, have also been performed.
