Fluxo harmônico em planta comercial na presença de grupo gerador

Abstract

This paper aims to observe the harmonics currents effects of the most generally non linear loads found in a commercial facility that uses generator set operating in a utility peak shaving. Studies of harmonic behavior effects on loads, transformers and generators set will be presented, so that we can have values to approach and for comparisons in this study development. Operations conditions, parameters e factors that influence in the harmonics distortions, and its influences on the system, will be shown and considered in order to reach a closest study to real. Detailed calculations will be shown in order to design passives tuned filters to be able to mitigate its distortions effects at the facility. With this calculations development and with the aid of computational software, we can analyze the initial system conditions and collect, by graphs, the behavior of the elements system in the presence of non linear loads. Afterwards, in addition of passive tuned filter, new graphs will be collected for comparison and verification of the new system operation conditions.
