Contemplação do exterior para melhor compreender o interior: uma excursão pela possível articulação entre design e arte urbana em um mundo pós-moderno

Abstract

This work researches the design from the relations that it establishes with the postmodern context. Therefore it is developed about the crisis of modernity, the globalization and the postmodern as a stream of thought attuned to the contemporaneity. It also brings a panorama about the implementation of design in Brazil since the sailings, going through the dictatorship period and the implementation of its first school. Thus it was noticed this post-modern design inserted in a plural context with possible articulations with urban art and contemporary art. As a result of this study and with the application of postmodern and methodological theories in this new scenario, having as articulator designer and creator, a video was made in order to have a visual dialog with urban art so that it could oppose to the rare idea of what people have of urban art.
