Design de bagageiro para bicicletas

Abstract

This work deals with product design, taking as its theme the development of a roof rack for bicycles. The proposal aims to fill a gap perceived in the market this device that meets the needs of cyclists, to transport objects in the back and forth to work, study and leisure. The city's bike paths is common to find cyclists carrying backpacks and yet, baskets, bags, roof racks on motorcycles and all kinds of tailored supports the bikes, to support their personal belongings. With the increase of cycle paths in Curitiba, which is the center of this research, encouraging the use of bicycles has become an important appeal to urban mobility, which triggers the demand for accessories that provide comfort to cyclists. In this context the design creates alternatives to new market demands, enabling this research has relevance, as the theme to the conclusion of this graduation. The methodological procedures used in developing the project began with field research, raising the product of this state of the art market. Then a questionnaire was designed to serve the script interview with cyclists who attend UTFPR as well as respondents social networking, asked to collaborate with an online questionnaire. From the data obtained it was seen that most of the cyclists adapts supports to accommodate your belongings when using the bicycle as a mode of transport in the city. The generated product resulted in a rack with organic and streamlined look, which can be fixed on the back of the bicycle with size adjustment, to facilitate the life of the cyclist.
