Abstract

This study examines the feasibility and potential of a mobile theater as a solution for democratizing access to culture in Curitiba, a city renowned for its innovative urban policies and rich cultural life. Despite the existence of various cultural spaces in the city, the supply is still insufficient to meet the population’s demand, and many of these spaces are concentrated in the central regions, hindering access for people from other areas. In light of this reality, flexible and adaptable solutions are sought for the creation and maintenance of cultural spaces. A mobile theater emerges as an interesting and innovative alternative. It is a traveling scenic space that can be easily transported from one place to another, providing greater cultural accessibility and contributing to the democratization of access to culture. The objective of this study is to analyze the feasibility of this mobile theater in Curitiba, investigate its possibilities for use in cultural and social events in the city, and propose creative and sustainable solutions for its construction. To achieve these objectives, bibliographic research and analysis were conducted on the feasibility of building a mobile theater in Curitiba. Based on the collected information and data, it is expected to propose creative and sustainable solutions for the construction of this mobile cultural space, aiming to democratize access to culture in Curitiba.
