A psicologia histórico-cultural de Lev Vygotsky e etnomatemática de Ubiratan D’ambrósio: possíveis diálogos

Abstract

This work aims at a bibliographical research that starts from two aspects, the first refers to thought and culture and the second covers Ethnomathematics, with the purpose of interconnecting the two at the end, to show where both meet and where they move away. For this, we list some concepts that we consider important and expand them throughout the writing, in the two perspectives worked, we have the help of several articles that addressed them and thus we were able to enrich our research. Presenting about the culture, development, thought, language and psychological functions of man is of great value, these topics end up being excluded when it comes to education, even more in mathematics education. Ethnomathematics has gained a lot of prominence in recent times, and our quest is to disseminate this knowledge among more teachers, so that they can understand that practice and culture are linked and thus pass that knowledge on to students in the best possible way.
