As variações dos custos da construção civil com a pandemia: estudo de caso em obra residencial

Abstract

The year 2020 and 2021 were very unusual, with the arrival of the coronavirus pandemic, human beings had to adapt and remain strong to face a virus that destroyed the lives of thousands of people in Brazil and around the world. Many sectors of the economy needed to reinvent themselves, and civil construction would be no different. Social isolation aroused a feeling in people, who came to see the home in an even more important way. While modern human beings saw their home as a home, social isolation turned home into a work environment and classroom. During this period, the number of residential constructions increased, as did the construction cost. This work sought to show where the increase in costs was more concentrated, evaluating this from a case study of a residential building. It was detected that services involving structures had the highest percentage increase, in contrast, the cost of labor stagnated.
