Projeto de uma máquina de ar e peneiras para uma unidade de beneficiamento de sementes compacta

Abstract

Despite the importance of research in seeds sector for the development of agriculture in Brazil, there isn’t still compact beneficiary seed unit enough, that can be used in research of laboratories in universities and research centers. The objective of the study was to design an air machine and sieves, for a amount of seeds up to 1 kg per duty cicle, and simulate the internal air flow caused by the exhaust fan. For the mechanical components design were used the initial conditions and boundary conditions specified in the literature review, and for the development were used the product development methodology described by Norton (2013). After the first sketches were defined, a detailed design of the machine was started, in which the mechanical components were dimensioned and the operating modes of the Air machine and sieves were defined. Finally, it was able to develop a product that met the expectations regarding size the conditions specified by the literature.
