Inovação em uma microempresa de fabricação de móveis

Abstract

This study aims to identify the main difficulties encountered by MSEs (micro and small enterprises) in the innovation processes that can prevent the competitive advantage and the development of these companies. For the development of research, there was a case study in a furniture manufacturing micro-enterprise, located in the city of Ponta Grossa, in the State of Paraná. The reality of this business was observed in detail, and we described the data in a predominantly qualitative way, conceptualizing and relating to the concepts of inovation management, types of innovation and strategies used by companies treated in the literature review of this work. For this, a diagnosis is performed to identify the level of innovation im which the micro-enterprise is found. The main results show that the miro-enterprise uses the inovation stage as a strategy (towards innovative organization), incorporating it into their daily lives, planning and innovative processes and products. This strategy allows the constant search for innovation in its products.
