Conselho municipal de saúde de Paranavaí: um meio de participação democrática dos cidadãos

Abstract

This work had as its theme the effectiveness of the Municipal Board of Health from Paraná as a channel for popular participation whose function is to formulate and monitor the implementation of public policies. According to the 1988 Constitution exert citizenship when we get access to this information , or know , opinion and follow the decisions aimed at protecting the rights and interests of the collective is titled as Social Control and the provision of the same by the public sector to society is called the principle of transparency. Thus in this work we can better meet the competencies, duties and difficulties of the Municipal Board of Health, for example, promote citizenship, exercise social control over the County and identify and capture the needs of the local society. It is the duty of every public entity to inform the population, clearly, about how you spend the money and be accountable for the acts, such information must be given in clear language and that can be understood by citizens in a simple way. However in the same proportion the public entity should encourage popular participation so that they can be aware of what people really need and take more effective actions with satisfactory results.
