Utilização de biogás como fonte para produção de energia elétrica em propriedades rurais no oeste paranaense

Abstract

With the growing increasing swine production activities in Brazil, especially in west o Paraná, and considering its high power to pollute the environment and also its grea potential for electricity generation through biogas, this study makes a comparative between cases studies in rural properties in west of Paraná that use biomass from waste swine production. Examples of these types of proprieties are the Granja Colombari, in São Miguel do Iguaçu, the propriety of Mr. Arnaldo Bombardelli, in Toledo, and the Fazenda Vale dos Ipês, in Ouro Verde do Oeste. In these three proprieties with different sizes it was studied the feasibility of using biogas for energy purposes. This study shows the environmental benefits achieved by the use o biomass waste from swine production contributing to the conservation and preservation of environmental.
