Gestão pública municipal e redes de cooperação: um estudo de caso sobre a cooperativa ambiental de Telêmaco Borba

Abstract

This study aims to highlight the importance of information flow management between municipal and cooperative networks, notably with regard to the Cooperative Environmental Telêmaco Borba - COOPATB, with a view to sustainability. They describe the municipal public management, local development and sustainability, and networks of cooperation, especially COOPATB through the case study method. The methodology used was literature research and field, with qualitative analysis of data collected, the instrument used was semi-structured interview, and participants were employees of the municipal public management of Telêmaco Borba and some members of COOPATB. It will show also the importance of municipal governance for effective delivery of public interest through cooperation networks as a mechanism that can assist in these services, because the agents who work in municipal public administration are faced with demands applicants, which express unresolved problems, especially with regard to environmental issues, local development and sustainability. Indeed, networks can develop cooperative activities in the public interest to be efficient, so the municipal public administration can and should use cooperation networks, functioning as a catalyst for initiatives to promote improvement in quality of life and development local development.
