Prevenção ao uso de drogas: uma ação educativa. O caso de Jataizinho - PR

Abstract

This work had as its theme the prevention of drug use within society, bringing the discussion to the school environment as a pedagogical proposal for action. Discusses the historicity of drugs in society and its initial characterization in the types of drugs and their effects. Reports on drug use in Brazil, its treatment and prevention, addiction as a true cancer that erodes the individual. Demonstrates public policies and the ways they can help drug addicts and that the situation is a public health problem, and that the laws have evolved in relation to the user of narcotics, have been considered as patients and receive adequate treatment. Shows the absence or existence only as the PROERD prevention program in the city of Jataizinho - PR, through interviews in the Departments of Social Action, Education and Military Police. Establishes as a parameter to discuss the issue of prevention approach on three levels: primary prevention, secondary and tertiary.
