Análise de riscos ambientais de um laboratório de biogás

Abstract

The workers who develop daily activities in biogas laboratories are exposed to a number of risks, either by manipulation of chemical compounds, either by exposure to biological contaminants or by interaction with various equipment and glassware necessary to procedures. Furthermore, in relation to external services, are exposed to risks inherent in sampling, in general waste, quality monitoring biogas and electricity generation in the field. This study was aimed to indicate best practice for that the health and safety of the biogas lab workers be preserved and current legislation to be met. For this, it is proposed to conduct a thorough analysis of the risks and other safety aspects of the work, generating main result a base of information necessary for the preparation of the Program for Prevention and Control of Environmental Risks. As the main results were conducted enviromental risk analysis for work places and function , recommendations for adequacy of processes to ensure the safety of workers and a timeframe to execution. From the results of this work, one can highlight the importance of risk analysis in laboratory work, especially in the production and analysis of biogas, according to the diversity of tests. Moreover, it can be seen that the risk analysis from two perspectives, from the workplace and from the tasks performed, provides a broader view of risks to workers than conventional forms of analysis only by function.
