Manutenção centrada em confiabilidade: estudo de caso de uma empresa de manufatura

Abstract

With the growing importance of the maintenance for the productive sector, due to the increase of the complexity of the machines and equipment’s, it becomes necessary a continuous improvement of management of the maintenance model. Thereby, for the development of a more adequate model of maintenance, is essential a deep technical knowledge of the production system, of their operational states and of the conditions of dysfunction that may affect the safety and the environment. In the maintenance model focused on the reliability is considered the functional aspects of the system, in other words, what is needed to do for a successful accomplishment of the objectives for which it was designed. Thus, the functional model associated with failure analysis, can present as advantages the detailed knowledge of the functional characteristics of the operating system, determine the impact of the failures on the environment and safety, and be a fundamental means for the development of a maintenance strategy focused on reliability.
