Análise dos sistemas de avaliação de desempenho ambiental em obras financiadas por agentes internacionais no município de Curitiba

Abstract

Since environmental preservation must be compatible with the need for economic development, environmental management is one of the instruments to promote this interaction.The environmental performance evaluation is a tool for environmental management programs developed for the analysis of the efficiency of each of them as part of an environmental management system. To measure environmental performance, it is important that environmental indexes be properly defined and consistent with the organization’s strategies, objectives and goals.This paper presents an instrument to evaluate the environmental performance of urban works and procedures to obtain the necessary information to identify and evaluate the results of the interaction between the activities of the constructions and the environment. The main activities and procedures of environmental supervision and management are also presented.The method presented is a satisfactory tool for the agencies to assess the effectiveness of environmental control measures implemented and to certify the services of a construction company.
