Análise do ensino de línguas estrangeiras e peculiaridades do caso brasileiro

Abstract

This paper presents a portrait of language education focusing on the student, the teacher, in the classroom and also some observations on the study of languages in Brazil and abroad taking into account the interaction between student and teacher, the process of globalization and studies performed on multiple intelligences. The present work follows a descriptive pattern. With globalization, the speed of communication, social networking and global trade, the English language has become standard on the relationships between countries, the English teacher has come to occupy a privileged position in relation to language training to those interested in closer ties with many different countries.
