Abstract

Forensic physics is the science that studies and applies concepts and laws of physics in situations of interest to the forensic sciences. From observation, analysis and interpretation of natural physical phenomena, for judicial purposes, the professional expert of the area aims to assist justice in the elucidation of crimes, bringing the evidence of truth to the fore for technical and scientific purposes. This profession, although better publicized recently, this work brings some applications of the course of Mechanical Engineering in the expert activity, especially in ballistics, but not limited to this, since forensic science covers the most varied courses, following the need for application.
