Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of the main reinforcement and rehabilitation techniques in wooden structures available in the current construction market. The sequence information presented in it aims to detail the various aspects to be taken into consideration in wooden structures analysis susceptible to degradation and loss of strength, since the exposure to agents of deterioration of the material and the most common non-destructive inspection techniques until description of techniques that allow the gain of resistance of these structures. The presentation of data from case studies of other authors, aims to illustrate the functioning of strengthening and rehabilitation techniques used throughout work, allowing a more realistic analysis of the presented theory.
