| Resumo: | Este trabalho de conclusão de curso tem como objetivo apresentar a análise do filme Estrelas além do Tempo e a representação da imagem da mulher ali mostrada. Apresentando um breve contexto histórico da ciência, no período de 1960 a 1970 em que se passa o filme, onde a mulher cientista, sofria de discriminação, sendo imposto os moldes de comportamentais referente à época, e quando inseridas no meio científico, precisavam provar serem capazes de exercer tal função. A abordagem da análise engloba a discriminação racial, devido ao período de segregação, em que se passa o longa-metragem. A análise realizada, se deu mediante a fundamentação teórica segundo a abordagem dos Estudos Culturais, como campo interdisciplinar com multiplicidade de objetos de investigação, métodos e técnicas que auxiliam na compreensão dos fenômenos sociais e culturais que abrangem os temas centrais da análise, possibilitando o entendimento da atitude populacional, seus posicionamentos políticos, morais sociais e ideológicos que refletem no comportamento dos personagens. Tendo como base metodológica a Análise de Discurso, tendo como foco a relação língua/sujeito/sociedade, e a forma como a ideologia do meio social é construída. A linguagem produz sentidos, e os sentidos são reflexos históricos da sociedade, o que possibilita estudar comportamentos discursivos, que são reflexos do meio social, em que o sujeito está inserido. Assim, realizou-se a construção do corpus da análise que se deu a partir da transcrição da conversação dos personagens, onde falas foram selecionadas, evidenciando a explorando como a mulher era vista. A imagem do feminismo veiculada a mulheres representadas no filme, vem com o foco na mulher enquanto sujeito, considerado um ser de intelecto inferior capaz de atuar em áreas de reduto apenas feminino, onde a ciência era dominada por homens, e não por seres considerados incapazes como as mulheres e os negros. |
| Abstract: | This work of course completion aims to present the analysis of the movie Stars beyond Time and the image of the woman shown there. Presenting a brief historical context of science, in the period from 1960 to 1970 in which the film, where the female scientist, suffered from discrimination following the patterns of behavior, however, when inserted in the scientific environment had to prove to be able to perform that function , equal to a man. The analysis approach encompasses racial discrimination, which is shown in the film, due to the period of segregation, in which the feature film is passed. The analysis was based on the theoretical basis of the Cultural Studies approach as an interdisciplinary field with a multiplicity of research objects, methods and techniques that help in understanding the social and cultural phenomena that cover the central themes of the analysis, allowing the understanding of the population's attitude, its political positions, social and ideological morals that reflect in the behavior of the characters. Based on Methodological Discourse Analysis, which focuses on the language / subject / society relationship, and how the ideology of the social environment is constructed. For if language produces meaning, and the senses are historical reflections of society, the subject who uses language is signified by sense, that is, by history. Thus, the construction of the corpus of the analysis that took place from the transcription of the conversation of the characters was carried out, where statements were selected, evidencing the exploring how the woman was seen. The image of feminism portrayed by women depicted in the film, focusing on the woman as subject, considered a being of lower intellect capable of acting in areas of feminine stronghold, where science was dominated by men, and not by beings considered incapable as women and blacks. |
