Abstract

This work proposes to take a better look onto some of the shooting modalities target fabrication process in order to concept a national production. Therefore, is intended to analyze an old making targets equipment usage possibilities. The study was made from an old plate production matrix that was used to make similar targets. Through its restoration and improvement for the targets production. The targets were later analyzed to verify if their characteristics meet the dimensional requirements of the competitions, as high, diameter and mass. The results taken from a metrological concepts analyses were almost the standard. Therefore, the possibility of using the matrix was confirmed despite the necessity of adjustments for dimensional adequacy. In addition to the possibilities of betterments discovered during the process that will improve and make easier the target fabrication process.
