Mecanismos de transferência de tecnologia nas universidades tecnológicas: comparação do modelo brasileiro e colombiano

Abstract

The objective of this investigation is to analyze the Mechanisms for Transfers of Technologies (MTT), these are efficient and influence the interaction of university, industry, and government. To explore this investigation, it implies the analysis of hypothetical elements that are general and particular for both of the institutions of education superior in studies UPTC - Colombia and UTFPR - Brazil. In practical terms, this step in the process is done with a descriptive investigation and exploratory in the sense that it applies interviews and surveys or facilitate information that is imperative with the objectives that are being traced. The results shown on the application of the final survey were 49 MTT, more efficient in the process of interaction in the university-industry, out of which 17 were presented at UPTC in the UTFPR 21, and 11 common in both universities. As you can see, 28% of the most efficient mechanisms are in place at UTFPR over those at at UPTC that has 21%. Out of those 82 mechanisms in the survey, 27% have low impact and 13% are unknown by either institution. To fulfill the objectives, second hand sources of information were used, that are found in the bibliography, some of these include investigations, magazines, and other publications regarding this topic, and information found on the website of each institution. What is looked for by doing this comparison is to identify the MTT that make the university interaction industry a better process. By finding the differences between the models of TT within the higher-level education institutions, a more elaborate model can be created that can represent the TT more efficiently. As a result, a graphic will be presented, that can be used to guide the analysis and discussions of the results of the most efficient mechanisms within the theoretical references that are available in the EIS study.
