Abstract

With the advancement of technology and the evolution of transmission equipment, the telephone companies face many problems in its operation one of the main is a major increase in the internal temperature of the street cabinets. The speed and need to expand of companies forced to use new equipment within the cabinets, however, the warming has become an obstacle. Climatization solutions used by most telecommunications companies not dissipate the heat generated by such equipment with the necessary speed, however, was affecting network performance and damaging several plates due to overheating. But an innovative project conceived by a telecommunications company with suppliers, solved the problem of seemingly simple yet complex at the same time due to the need to combine the best performance with economy. A theoretical analysis of the entire structure with concepts in heat, cold and communication was the basis for the initial ideas. As knowledge of current and future topology cooperated much to the progress of the studies. The developed technology has brought a better result than expected, and the goal of uniting high performance at a lower cost than the previous solution was reached. The cost-benefit ratio that this innovation brought to the corporation was amazing. Further studies will collaborate when happen a new reformulation of the equipment installed in the street.
