Tradição oral de matriz africana e indústria cultural: levantamento de tendências na comunidade quilombola de João Surá

Abstract

This research approaches the African oral tradition and Cultural Industry at Comunidade Quilombola de João Surá. The issue descends from the formulated problem of this research, that consists in identify how is the oral tradition from African root exists at Quilombo de João Surá with the increment of the Cultural Industry. The objective of this research consists in rising up tendencies of the oral tradition and from the Cultural Industry in the community. The specific objectives aim to evidence the meaning of orality in the black African cultures for the construction of its historical individuals. In the sequence, identify at the Quilombo de João Surá, the presence or absence of orality in the community’s history. In case it exists, it will look for the characters known as the memories and values tellers, as well as their relation with other people from the community. It aims also to identify the aspects of Cultural Industry that influences the life of the Community members. For that, there will be developed ethnography. As the theoretical reference, it demonstrates elements about the concept of culture, oral tradition and Cultural Industry, based on specialized literature. This research, hopefully, will allow the autonomy increasing for the writer, enabling the continuity of the studies and the generation of new researches in the literature area. The results are intended to be presented at Quilombo de João Surá to demonstrate the perspective shown in this research. The document will also be send for the responsibility of Departamento de Comunicação e Expressão of the University, with the possibility to be used as support for other studies about the same issue, as well as it analyzes to establish the relation between the practice of orality and the Cultural Industry.
