Terminal Intermodal de passageiros em Passo Fundo - RS

Abstract

This paper presents the first stage from the Term Paper from the Architecture and Urbanism Course from the Federal Technological University of Parana, as it will be divided in two stages. This study consists on the implementation study of a Intermodal Passenger Terminal for the city of Passo Fundo, which is located on the state of Rio Grande do Sul, that aims to meet the needs from their population and its vinicity, providing a new urban equipment required to integrate the urban transport system and the interstate transport system which could also host cultural events, better services for the citizens and also having proper access conditions, guaranteeing universal mobility. The current research is based on: bibliographical references for the literature review, concepts and historical data from the terminals and the methods of transport, as well as the study of cases that complement the subject in discussion and the consequent reality interpretation, which will finally provide this project’s guidelines, program of needs and the proposition for the project, that will ultimately result and define the Intermodal Terminal from Passo Fundo.
