Análise de acessibilidade dos pontos de parada do sistema de transporte coletivo por ônibus na cidade de Campo Mourão-PR, segundo a ABNT NBR 9050:2004

Abstract

The growth of the population in general, including people with special needs (PSN’s), increases the demand for accessible places to give anyone the right to come and go. An environment adapted to meet all the needs of its members ensures a better quality of life, bringing forth independence and security. So, from an interdisciplinary literature review approaching the accessibility, the barriers, the reduced mobility, the bus stops of the mass transit system and municipal legislation on previous themes, the aim of this study is to analyze the current situation of bus stops in terms ofloading and unloading of passengers of public transport in the city of Campo Mourao-PR. Initially it performed a municipal mapping at the City Hall, trying to analyze the local laws and the current situation of TCU breakpoints. Then, a field survey was carried out in the city, watching the main obstacles in the stopping points, based on the recommendations of ABNT NBR 9050: 2004. Finally, the study sought to present some suggestions for improvements to the municipality regarding the accessibility of shelters regular stop analyzed, based on the results obtained through research. The results showed the lack of the municipality to provide full access to PSNs at bus stops, for example, they were found in most points the lack of tactile floor and side protection. All points showed some non-compliance with the standard. We conclude then that the municipality of Campo Mourao is very lacking with regard to shelters bus stops, making it necessary readjusted ourselves and a supervisory policy for the implementation of the shelters.
