Abstract

A large variety of materials are used in the industry of construction. The execution of formwork of concrete can be made by wood, steel, composite, paper and plastics. But do not have the necessary concern with these temporary structures. When these molds are well executed generate safety, economy, speed of execution and better quality of work. Although wood is the most common material used in the production of formwork for concrete, these materials are becoming increasingly scarce. Therefore, the need to consider new alternatives to perform these temporary structures which are very important in a building, as they ensure that the effective performance of subsequent steps in a work. This paper proposes the implementation of metallic molds for replacement of wooden formwork for the construction of affordable housing using staples, clips, spacers and special PVC tensioners replacing screws and wing nuts, using a simple and practical system of assembling the same without special tools.
