Explicando com mapa conceitual: “O que são grandezas físicas e como devem ser expressas?”

Abstract

Topics of study: physical quantities, International System of Units, significant algharisms, prefixes, scientific notation, chain conversion. Material: video with H5P interactive elements that appears in the course (Re)viewing Physics on the Moodle platform. Content: presentation of a conceptual map – an instrument based on Ausubel's theory of Meaningful Learning – which articulates the concept of physical quantities with other concepts through a graphic organization, demonstrating a hierarchical structure that enhances the learning process. Allied to this, there is the insertion of other open resources during the presentation of the map, as well as five interactive elements of the H5P tool: (1) Poster with informative text about the background music; (2) Link with button to the booklet “The new International System of Units”; (3) Link to page about updating the definition of the kilogram unit; (4) Link to OER “Unit Conversion”; and, (5) Link to the concept map developer program, Cmap Tools. Target audience: undergraduate students who have the discipline of Physics in the curriculum of the course and who need to review content.
