| Resumo: | Esta dissertação investiga as manifestações do absurdo na poesia contemporânea, com foco em Corpo de Festim (2016), de Alexandre Guarnieri, compreendendo sua poética do corpo como a materialização do absurdo e desespero existencial. O estudo fundamentase nas reflexões filosóficas de Kierkegaard (1979; 2017) e Camus (2019.a; 2019b) para compreender as bases do absurdo, recorrendo também a Freud (2021), Otto Rank (1971) e Clément Rosset (2008) para discutir o estranho e o duplo, e a Martin Esslin (2018) para abordar o Teatro do Absurdo. Além disso, articula elementos do pessimismo e niilismo, a partir de Schopenhauer (2005), Nietzsche (2011; 2021) e Cioran (2010; 2011), explorando o absurdo como um fenômeno estético dinâmico. O primeiro capítulo investiga suas bases filosóficas e existenciais; o segundo analisa a obra de Guarnieri em diálogo com a poesia concreta e mallarmeana; e o terceiro examina como seus poemas mobilizam o absurdo na forma e no conteúdo. A pesquisa evidencia que o absurdo, além de temática, constitui método e estratégia estética do poeta, reafirmando sua relevância na poesia contemporânea. |
| Abstract: | This dissertation investigates the manifestations of the absurd in contemporary poetry, focusing on Corpo de Festim (2016), by Alexandre Guarnieri, understanding his poetics of the body as the materialization of the absurd and existential despair. The study is grounded in the philosophical reflections of Kierkegaard (1979; 2017) and Camus (2019.a; 2019b) to comprehend the foundations of the absurd, also drawing on Freud (2021), Otto Rank (1971), and Clément Rosset (2008) to discuss the uncanny and the double, and on Martin Esslin (2018) to address the Theatre of the Absurd. In addition, it articulates elements of pessimism and nihilism based on Schopenhauer (2005), Nietzsche (2011; 2021), and Cioran (2010; 2011), exploring the absurd as a dynamic aesthetic phenomenon. The first chapter investigates its philosophical and existential foundations; the second analyzes Guarnieri’s work in dialogue with concrete and Mallarmean poetry; and the third examines how his poems mobilize the absurd in both form and content. The research demonstrates that the absurd, beyond being a theme, constitutes a method and aesthetic strategy for the poet, reaffirming its relevance in contemporary poetry. |
