| Resumo: | Este trabalho apresenta um estudo que objetivou na análise das contribuições do episódio Influenza do anime Cells at Work, para abordagem sobre células de defesa do corpo humano em Biologia no 2º ano do Ensino Médio, em uma escola da rede pública estadual de Ponta Grossa/PR. O estudo consistiu na identificação de um episódio do anime relacionado com a abordagem sobre mecanismo de defesa do corpo humano; em estabelecer relações comparativas entre os conhecimentos prévios e conhecimentos apresentados ao final da sequência de aulas; na promoção de discussões sobre como a representação das células no anime se alinha ou diverge da realidade científica, incentivando o pensamento crítico e a intervenção em possíveis equívocos a partir da implementação da unidade de ensino potencialmente significativa (UEPS); e em demonstrar o impacto do uso do anime como ferramenta didática na retenção de informações pelos alunos, comparando os resultados com métodos de ensino tradicionais. A pesquisa se caracteriza como de natureza qualitativa e exploratória, com intervenção pedagógica a partir da elaboração de uma UEPS. Os dados foram coletados a partir das etapas da UEPS, em três aulas envolvendo experiências das relações docentes-discentes, questionários e uma atividade prática de colagem. Como resultado da intervenção, constatamos a eficácia e os desafios de acordo com a mediação por meio do episódio Influenza em conjunto com a aprendizagem significativa, ordenadas nas etapas, podendo ser capazes de contribuir para o processo de ensino-aprendizagem, sobretudo na capacidade em associar e estimular a relação entre os conceitos científicos e a realidade dos alunos, despertando para o desenvolvimento do pensamento crítico. Em síntese, a abordagem do trabalho consistiu na mediação do episódio Influenza do anime Cells at Work, possibilitando a compreensão de que o corpo apresenta diversas células e suas próprias características distintas para proteger o organismo em conjunto, enfrentando diferentes adversidades como febre, fadiga, entre outras, ao se depararem com agentes nocivos. |
| Abstract: | This paper presents a study that aimed to analyze the contributions of the Influenza episode of the anime Cells at Work, to the approach to human body defense cells in Biology in the 2nd year of High School, in a state public school in Ponta Grossa/PR. The study consisted of identifying an episode of the anime related to the approach to the defense mechanism of the human body; establishing comparative relationships between prior knowledge and knowledge presented at the end of the sequence of lessons; promoting discussions about how the representation of cells in the anime aligns with or diverges from scientific reality, encouraging critical thinking and intervention in possible misunderstandings based on the implementation of the potentially significant teaching unit (PMTU); and demonstrating the impact of using anime as a teaching tool on the retention of information by students, comparing the results with traditional teaching methods. The research is characterized as qualitative and exploratory in nature, with pedagogical intervention based on the development of a PMTU. Data was collected from the stages of the PMTU, in three classes involving experiences of teacher-student relations, questionnaires and a practical collage activity. As a result of the intervention, we found that the effectiveness and challenges of mediating the Influenza episode in conjunction with meaningful learning, organized in stages, can contribute to the teaching-learning process, especially in terms of the ability to associate and stimulate the relationship between scientific concepts and the students' reality, awakening the development of critical thinking. In summary, the approach of the work consisted of mediating the Influenza episode of the anime Cells at Work, making it possible to understand that the body has several cells and their own distinct characteristics to protect the organism as a whole, facing different adversities such as fever, fatigue, among others, when faced with harmful agents. |
