| Resumo: | O objetivo geral desta pesquisa é analisar a ambiguidade de escopo de operadores presentes no gênero manchete. Para isso, como pressupostos teóricos, foram utilizadas a teoria de ambiguidade de escopo de operadores, fundamentada em Pires de Oliveira et al (2012), a teoria do gêneros discursivos, de Bakhtin (2003), e a teoria sobre análise linguística, de Geraldi (1984) e de Mendonça (2006). Como procedimentos metodológicos, em relação aos dados, foram selecionadas manchetes de jornais digitais que apresentam ambiguidade de escopo de operadores, tendo como objetivos específicos a) identificar nos textos os operadores que aparecem e quais são mais recorrentes nesse tipo de ambiguidade; e b) trazer exemplos de textos do gênero manchete que podem ser utilizados pelo professor em sala de aula. Já em relação aos procedimentos de análises, foi feita uma análise pelo viés mais estrutural da língua, com o estudo da semântica das sentenças nas manchetes coletadas e uma análise mais discursiva com relação ao gênero a que elas pertencem. Foram identificadas as ambiguidades presentes e as possíveis interpretações ocasionadas por elas. Os resultados mostraram que a ambiguidade de escopo de operadores ocorre frequentemente devido a operadores quantificadores e é encontrada em sua grande maioria em manchetes inseridas no gênero notícia. Desse modo, a pesquisa traz contribuição para a área da linguística, promovendo reflexões a partir do conceito de ambiguidade de escopo de operadores, assim como contribui trazendo exemplos com esse tipo de ambiguidade dentro do gênero manchete e que servirá para o trabalho em sala de aula. |
| Abstract: | The general objective of this research is to analyze the ambiguity of scope of operators present in the headline genre. For this, as theoretical assumptions, the theory of operator scope ambiguity was used, based on Pires de Oliveira et al (2012), the theory of discursive genres, by Bakhtin (2003), and the theory on linguistic analysis, by Geraldi (1984) and Mendonça (2006). As methodological procedures, in relation to the data, headlines from digital newspapers that present ambiguity in the scope of operators were selected, with the specific objectives of a) Fidentifying in the texts the operators that appear and which are most recurrent in this type of ambiguity; and b) bring examples of texts in the headline genre that can be used by the teacher in the classroom. Regarding the analysis procedures, an analysis was carried out from a more structural perspective of the language, with the study of the semantics of the sentences in the collected headlines and a more discursive analysis in relation to the genre to which they belong. The ambiguities present and the possible interpretations caused by them were identified. The results showed that operator scope ambiguity frequently occurs due to quantifier operators and is mostly found in headlines included in the news genre. In this way, the research makes a contribution to the area of linguistics, promoting reflections based on the concept of ambiguity in the scope of operators, as well as contributing by bringing examples with this type of ambiguity within the headline genre and which will be used for work in the classroom. |
