dc.description.abstractThe present work has the objective of present an analysis of The Chronicles of the Narnia, written by professor and writer Clive Staples Lewis, focusing mainly in the analysis of the character Aslam, the Lion, as a representative figure of biblical Jesus Christ. For this, three of the seven chronicles have been used, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, The Horse and His Boy and The Voyage of The Dawn Treader. First, we have considered relevant a reading about some of Lewis9s experiences 3 especially those which led him to the development of the theme that covers biblical intertextual elements in marvelous literature, by considering Lewis9s autobiography Surprised by Joy (2021) and Alister McGrath9s biography entitled The Life of C. S. Lewis: From Atheisms to the Lands of Narnia (2013), and also the ideas of Tzvetan Todorov (1980) and David Roas (2014) on the marvelous have been also important. Throughout our comparative analyzes among the three selected novels and excerpts from biblical texts, we have verified ideas and arguments of critics and theorists of theopoetics, theology and literature in teaching, as well as authors who have already discussed the connection between the books of The As Chronicles of Narnia and the texts of the Holy Scriptures. At the end of our research, we could see that there really is great potential in The Chronicles of Narnia for theological teaching aimed at children. The marvellous and the playful favor the development of understanding of difficult and profound passages existing in the Christian Bible.pt_BR

dc.description.resumoO presente trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar uma análise de As Crônicas de Nárnia, escritas pelo professor e escritor Clives Staples Lewis, focando, principalmente, na análise do personagem Aslam, o Leão, como uma figura de representação do Jesus Cristo bíblico. Para que isso pudesse ser realizado, foram utilizadas três das sete crônicas da série, sendo elas O Leão, a Feiticeira e o Guarda-roupa, O Cavalo e Seu Menino e A Viagem do Peregrino da Alvorada. Primeiramente, consideramos relevante uma leitura sobre algumas das experiências de Lewis 3 especialmente, as que o levaram ao desenvolvimento da temática que abrange elementos intertextuais bíblicos na literatura maravilhosa, considerando ainda a autobiografia de Lewis, Surpreendido pela Alegria (2021) e a biografia de Alister McGrath, intitulada A Vida de C. S. Lewis: Do Ateísmo às Terras de Nárnia (2013), e ainda as ideias de Tzvetan Todorov (1980) e de David Roas (2014) sobre o maravilhoso. Ao longo de nossas análises comparativas entre os três romances selecionados e excertos de textos bíblicos, verificamos ideias e argumentos de críticos e teóricos da teopoética, da teologia e da literatura no ensino, bem como autores que já discutiram sobre a conexão entre os livros de As Crônicas de Nárnia e os textos das sagradas escrituras. Ao término de nossa pesquisa, pudemos constatar que existe, realmente, um grande potencial em As Crônicas de Nárnia para o ensino teológico direcionado a crianças. O maravilhoso e o lúdico favorecem o desenvolvimento do entendimento de passagens difíceis e profundas existentes na Bíblia cristã.pt_BR
