| Resumo: | Este trabalho consiste em uma investigação a respeito do pensamento do filósofo brasileiro Álvaro Borges Vieira Pinto (1909-1987). Trata-se de uma exposição sistemática (sempre interpretativa) orientada pela reconstituição sistemática do essencial do pensamento de Álvaro Vieira Pinto. Nossa investigação se situa no contexto dos trabalhos escritos pelo autor, cronologicamente, a partir do opúsculo Ideologia e Desenvolvimento Nacional (1956), abrangendo textos posteriores que hoje temos disponíveis. Apresentamos a tese de que ao longo dessas obras se realiza o desdobramento de um pensamento filosófico sistemático e unitário, mas cuja exposição sintética deve ser produzida, consistindo nisto o nosso trabalho. Como resultado, queremos, justamente, a partir da interpretação sistemática de seus textos, expor os fundamentos dessa concepção filosófica e apresentar como se estrutura e se desenvolve seu pensamento internamente. Não há, no autor, nenhuma obra dedicada exclusiva e especificamente à sistematização que aqui empreendemos, que recolhe elementos deixados ao longo de todas as obras do autor por nós investigadas, por isso esta tese pode contribuir para lançar uma nova luz sobre os conjuntos de problemas que envolvem o autor e sua obra. O fato de que o pensador brasileiro tenha escrito a respeito de uma grande variedade de temas, como Trabalho, Nação, Ciência, Tecnologia, Cibernética, Educação, Política etc., parece exigir algum tipo de interpretação que nos permita a sua adequada unificação, tanto mais quanto este sempre foi um objetivo explícito do próprio Vieira Pinto, a saber, que seu pensamento pudesse ser a representação da totalidade de seu objeto. Esta tese busca fornecer essa interpretação. |
| Abstract: | This work consists of an investigation about the thought of the Brazilian philosopher Álvaro Vieira Pinto. It is a systematical exposition (always interpretative) oriented by the systematic reconstitution of the essential of Álvaro Vieira Pinto’s thought. Our investigation is situated in the context of the works written by the author, chronologically, from the booklet Ideology and National Development (1956) onwards, including later texts that we have available today. We present the thesis that throughout these works, a systematic and unitary philosophical thought unfolds, but whose synthetic exposition must be produced, and this is what our work consists of. As a result, we want, precisely, from the systematic interpretation of his texts, to expose the foundations of this philosophical conception and present how his thought is structured and developed internally. There is no work by the author that is dedicated exclusively and specifically to the systematization we undertake here, which collects elements left over from all the author’s works investigated by us, and that’s why this thesis may shed new light on the set of problems involving the author and his work. The fact that the Brazilian thinker has written about a great variety of themes, such as Work, Nation, Science, Technology, Cybernetics, Education, Politics etc., seems to demand some kind of interpretation that allows us its adequate unification, especially since this has always been an explicit goal of Vieira Pinto himself, that is, that his thought could be the representation of the totality of his object. This thesis seeks to provide this interpretation. |
