Educação ambiental pela temática dos agrotóxicos: uma análise dos documentos oficiais

Abstract

This study on environmental education, with the general objective to analyze how environmental education is proposed in basic education, specifically in elementary school II and in high school in official documents such as laws, curricular documents, National environmental Education Program and the national and state education plans, as well as identify the main similarities and purposes of these documents that guide the pedagogical practice of the State College President Abraham Lincoln. The motivation of this research was the author's concern to insert in her teaching practice environmental discussions as a result of that at the State College President Abraham Lincoln located in the municipality of Colombo in the state of Paraná attends students Farmers, who use pesticides on a daily basis. Using the criteria established by Bardin (2011), the first phase constitutes the pre, and can be identified as an organization phase. It established well defined procedures as the first contact with the official documents and their choice, formulation of the objectives and the elaboration of the criteria that guided the interpretation. He started the work by choosing the official documents pertaining to environmental education by classifying them in four categories: Brazilian legislation, curricular documents, national environmental education Program and national and state education plans. From there there was exploitation of the material through exhaustive readings constituting the second criterion. After the analysis, the tabulation stage was initiated, the third criterion in which it sought to elencare the similarities and purposes of the categorized sources constituting the treatment of the results. To address the subject of pesticides, a survey was made of the work done by the teachers of the public network of Paraná who completed the program of educational development between the years 2007 to 2014. This survey was carried out through the official website of the Government of the state of Paraná, and it was intended to know the work carried out by fellow educators on the subject under study. From this survey it was possible to draw up an educational resource that assists in the teaching education in order to provide guidance and information on the environment for the thematic of pesticides, based on the contextualization and Interdisciplinarity. The material produced that is the product of the master's degree in the PPGFCET can be used by the teachers of the State College President Abraham Lincoln and will be available in digital and printed format, besides the repository of the PPGFCET with free access to the teachers. The document analysis has made it possible to understand that there are documents that formalize the insertion of environmental education in basic education, with the objective of promoting the construction of knowledge of the environment. According to the documents the environmental education is not restricted to the existence of a mere discipline, being something much broader that must be rooted in all the practices of the school, including in all the disciplines should, therefore be worked in a transversal way , interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary in the different curricular components. But more than there are documents, the involvement of educators promoting interdisciplinary work and showing students that they are part of the process and are subject transformers, able to grow personal, social and environmentally is Fundamental in the articulation of work with environmental education. The documents are essential to direct the pedagogical practice, however are the actions of awareness and environmental awareness that in fact involves affectionately the teachers and students in the construction of knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary for the preservation and improvement of environmental quality and they can make a difference in the construction of an environmentally balanced society.
