A articulação entre a educação ambiental transformadora e os pressupostos de CTSA em uma oficina temática aplicada no ensino de química

Abstract

The concepts of transforming environmental education articulated with the educational perspective of science, technology, society and the environment (CTSA) in schools have stood out due to the appreciation of issues that emerge in the daily lives of those facing the curriculum content. This research aims to investigate how a thematic workshop proposal in the CTSA perspective promoted the learning of science concepts related to the generation of urban solid particles. For this, the thematic workshop "Garbage and environmental pollution" was organized according to the theoretical contributions of Marcondes (2007) and Loureiro (2004) in 5 stages with a total duration of 4 hours, applied in a State school in the municipality of Cambé PR, during the 7th Humanities Week 2018 whose audience was a class of students of the 2nd High School. The workshop through the foundations of CTSA and objectives of THE, provided students with knowledge about the importance of selective collection and recycling in the municipality and its social role in relation to environmental preservation. It was found that teaching based on an articulation of the objectives proposed by Environmental Education and the CTSA models built the construction of thematic workshops for the students' learning process in relation to the importance of environmental preservation.
