| Resumo: | Em busca da mobilidade urbana sustentável, muitas cidades no Brasil têm procurado desenvolver sistemas cicloviários, como forma de incentivar os deslocamentos diários da população, principalmente, em viagens por motivo de trabalho, estudo ou lazer. Porém, observa-se que alguns sistemas apresentam falhas na sua concepção e por isso o propósito de fazer crescer a demanda por este modo de transporte acaba por não ser atingido. O objetivo da pesquisa foi levantar e conceder informações acerca da infraestrutura cicloviária existente no município de Toledo-PR, para possibilitar a otimização da mobilidade urbana na localidade. Os indicadores de desempenho utilizados se mostraram eficazes ao traduzir a qualidade na largura útil da rede cicloviária existente. Assim, de forma objetiva e simplificada, a classificação da qualidade do sistema cicloviário contribuiu para a difusão da necessidade de mensuração das condições da malha cicloviária. A análise mostrou que uma parcela com 7% contida em 55 trechos de infraestrutura cicloviária são consideradas indesejáveis e outra porção com 13% apresenta vias cicláveis desejáveis. Apesar da gestão municipal promover avanços, o diagnóstico situacional ao mostrar as vulnerabilidades, considera a largura útil um fator que deve evoluir frente as ameaças do espaço urbano e a incrementação de medidas contribui para uma maior eficiência no deslocamento. |
| Abstract: | In search of sustainable urban mobility, many cities in Brazil have sought to develop cycling systems, as a way to encourage the population daily displacement, especially when traveling for work, study or leisure. However, it is observed that some systems have flaws in their design and therefore the purpose of increasing the demand for this mode of transport ends up not being achieved. The objective of the research was to collect and provide information about the existing cycling infrastructure in the city of Toledo-PR, to enable the optimization of urban mobility in the locality. The performance indicators used proved to be effective in translating quality into the useful width of the existing cycleway network. Thus, in an objective and simplified way, the classification of the quality of the cycling system contributed to the dissemination of the need to measure the conditions of the cycling network. The analysis showed that a portion with 7% contained in 55 stretches of cycling infrastructure are considered undesirable and another portion with 13% presents desirable cycling routes. Despite the municipal management promoting advances, the situational diagnosis when showing the vulnerabilities, considers the useful width a factor that must evolve in the face of the threats of the urban space and the increase of measures contributes to a greater efficiency in the displacement. |
