Avaliação de trafegabilidade da PR-586: trecho entre distrito de Luz Marina e sede de São Pedro do Iguaçu

Abstract

The road system is the most used means of transport in Brazil, but the roads are in unsatisfactory conditions of trafficability due to the lack of conservation and maintenance, hindering the socioeconomic development of the country. This work identified and analyzed the pathologies in a section of the PR-586, located between the seat of the municipality of São Pedro do Iguaçu and the district of Luz Marina, Paraná. The section consists of 15.35 km on an unpaved road and 1.10 km on a paved road. For the analysis of the unpaved section, the method proposed by Baesso and Gonçalves (2003) and norms DNIT 005/2003 – Terminology and 006/2003 – Procedures for the analysis of the paved section were used. The defects that influence the rolling conditions of the roads were raised, through photographic survey, and the severity in each subsection of the paved and unpaved section was evaluated. It was concluded that the paved section under study has a Good classification and the unpaved section has a Regular classification. Light and routine maintenance is recommended to avoid aggravation of the situation, guaranteeing the conditions of trafficability, safety, economy and comfort of the road.
