De Grão em Grão: aplicativo para fomento da redistribuição de alimentos excedentes

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to foment the redistribution of excess food through an application, reducing wastage and improving food security for the population. The design of the application began with field research, in which a questionnaire about donations was applied to potential users of the system. The obtained results helped to develop a software project that supported the development of the system. The application was developed for Android smartphones using the React Native framework. The resulting application, called De grão em grão, allows potential donors, recipients, and voluntary transporters to connect themselves, facilitating their contact and, subsequently, making food donations.
