Concept Art para um jogo afrofuturista

Abstract

In order to bring up the subject of black empowerment, the work will address the visual conception of an Afrofuturist game. The project will bring used methodologies, functionality and the final material, which will have some conceptual art of the game, containing the main characters. The TCC will include reasoning and ideologies that talk about the black race and how it has been treated over the years and how it is made invisible by whiteness. The aesthetic applied to this will be the afrofuturist, which portrays how black people can be seen in the future, since we find ourselves increasingly marginalized and therefore without a voice, it ends up making it impossible to see oneself in the near or distant future. The proposed theme makes us reflect the negative impacts of the lack of black representation in entertainment, especially in the field of games, will show the process of recognition and self-discovery of blackness. Imagine a place made up of a pleasant environment, being one and only with nature, with giant buildings, with flying spaceships and smiling people, these people are dark in color and with different skin tones, those who run this city are the religious fathers of saints of Candomblé that protects and cares for the environment and all its peers.
